A NORTH PORT TEENAGER WAS ARRESTED EARLY SUNDAY MORNING AFTER HE ALLEGEDLY PULLED A GUN ON A MAN WHO SAYS HE AND TWO FRIENDS VANDALIZED HIS HOME.  NORTH PORT POLICE SAY THE 55 YEAR OLD VICTIM SAID A FENCE OUTSIDE HIS HOME WAS PAINTED WITH EXPLETIVES BY THREE BOYS WHO WERE TRESPASSING ON HIS PROPERTY LATE SATURDAY NIGHT.  THE VICTIM BELIEVED HE KNEW WHO DID IT, AND ALLEGEDLY GRABBED ONE BY THE SHIRT, RIPPING IT.  AT THAT TIME, 18 YEAR OLD DANIEL HEILMAN ALLEGEDLY POINTED A RIFLE IN THE VICTIM’S FACE AND SHOUTED “LET HIM GO OR I’LL KILL YOU.”  THE VICTIM THEN RETURNED HOME AND CALLED POLICE, TELLING THEM THE THREE HAD TRESPASSED ON HIS PROPERTY BEFORE.  A NORTH PORT POLICE OFFICER WENT TO HEILMAN’S HOME ON DOOLEY AVENUE TO QUESTION HIM, AND THEY CHARGED HIM WITH AGGRAVATED ASSAULT AND CRIMINAL MISCHIEF WITH PROPERTY DAMAGE.  HE WAS RELEASED AFTER POSTING BOND.  NEITHER OF THE OTHER TWO BOYS INVOLVED WAS CHARGED.
