On April 29, 2025, Officer J. Taylor conducted a traffic stop for running a stop sign. DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office Corporal Friend and K-9 Kita assisted by alerting to narcotics within the vehicle. After further investigation, 2.2 grams of cocaine, 6 grams of methamphetamine, prescription pills, and drug paraphernalia were located.
Jody Dobbs (53) was arrested and charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Hydromorphine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Shelby Moore (48) were arrested Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
