DeSoto County Legislative Delegation Meeting Scheduled for August 11, 2025
Senate President Ben Albritton, Chairman of the DeSoto County Legislative Delegation, along with Vice Chair Representative Vanessa Oliver, has announced the annual DeSoto County Legislative Delegation Meeting in preparation for the 2026 Legislative Session.
The meeting will take place on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at the DeSoto County Commission Chambers, located at 201 East Oak Street in Arcadia, Florida.
This public meeting offers residents, local government officials, and community organizations a chance to address the Delegation and share their concerns or legislative priorities ahead of the upcoming session.
To be included on the printed agenda, requests must be submitted to President Albritton’s office via email at [email protected]. A Presenter’s Form with further instructions will be provided and must be returned electronically by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
Public comment cards will also be available at the meeting for those who wish to speak. Speakers who submit a card on-site will be heard in the order received. Speaking time may be limited depending on the number of requests.
Individuals bringing handouts for the Delegation are asked to provide five (5) copies for distribution if materials were not submitted in advance.
