We are proud to introduce Rebecca Browning, your dedicated Victim Advocate with the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office. Rebecca is here to ensure that victims of crime receive the support, information, and resources they need every step of the way.
OUR SERVICES INCLUDE:
✔️ Emotional Support and Crisis Intervention
✔️ Information About Victim Rights and the Criminal Justice Process
✔️ Assistance with Protection Orders
✔️ Referrals to Counseling, Shelter, and Community Resources
✔️ Help Filing for Victim Compensation
✔️ Accompaniment to Court Proceedings or Law Enforcement Interviews
✔️ Safety Planning and Advocacy
Rebecca provides compassionate, confidential support and connects victims with the resources they need to heal and seek justice. Services are free and available to all victims, whether or not an arrest has been made.
