Allegiant Air is bringing three new nonstop routes to the Suncoast for spring 2027, giving travelers in Pinellas, Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties a faster path to New England. Starting February 13, Sarasota-Bradenton (SRQ) connects nonstop to Providence (PVD), while St. Pete-Clearwater (PIE) and Punta Gorda (PGD) each get nonstop service to Boston Logan (BOS). All three routes operate through April 24, 2027, then stop.
The limited window is intentional. Allegiant calls the service “hyper-seasonal,” moving aircraft into markets when leisure demand peaks rather than committing to year-round flying. The routes are part of nine new Allegiant nonstops announced nationwide on August 17, 2026. Chief Commercial Officer Drew Wells said the additions show the flexibility of the company’s model and its ability to add service when and where leisure demand is strongest.
Before you book, compare the total cost. Allegiant’s à la carte pricing means the advertised fare covers your seat only. Bags and seat assignments cost extra, and those add up quickly. There is also a fare fine-print discrepancy listing a purchase deadline of August 15, two days before the announcement itself went out, so verify any advertised price directly on the booking site.
