His commitment goes beyond the starters. Ferguson stays until the final whistle specifically to photograph the players who spend most of the game on the bench. His motivation deepened when a grieving mother asked him for a photo of her late son, and he didn’t have one. That request changed how he works. He’s also an accomplished nature photographer who mails prints each month to seniors without computer access.
