A Saturday afternoon of food and fashion is doing double duty on the Suncoast. Sip, Shop & Support: A Fashion Experience takes place Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Pascone’s Ristorante, 5239 University Parkway in Sarasota. Tickets are $48 through Eventbrite and include a luncheon and a fashion show presented by Scout & Molly’s Boutique of Lakewood Ranch.
Proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast and its one-to-one youth mentoring programs. The organization serves children ages 6 to 18 across 10 Florida Gulf Coast counties and has been operating locally since 1968. According to Jennifer Fritch, Senior Regional Director of Development, funding like this covers the costs that every mentoring match requires, including background checks and fingerprinting.
The event also gives local businesses a lift during Sarasota’s slower season, a time when restaurants and locally owned shops often feel a dip in traffic. Organizer Tyler Butler of Out & About Sarasota helped put the afternoon together with that goal in mind. With tickets kept at $48, organizers hope the event stays within reach for anyone who wants to help.
