Highs hold near 90 along the coast and climb into the lower 90s inland, with scattered storms possible through the afternoon and evening. Thursday stays breezy with more scattered storms before winds finally ease on Friday.
Boaters should take note. Wednesday and Thursday bring hazardous Gulf conditions, with northeast winds up to 25 knots and gusts near 30 knots Wednesday night. Small Craft Advisories are possible, so check conditions before heading out on the water. Back on land, Friday’s lighter winds come with a small drop in humidity, which could make mornings feel more comfortable with lows in the lower to mid-70s.
The break doesn’t last long. Storm chances rise again Friday and stay high Saturday through Monday, with afternoon and evening storms favoring the west coast and bringing heavy downpours and gusty winds. Meanwhile, a tropical disturbance about 1,000 miles east-southeast of Bermuda is worth watching, though its development odds are decreasing and it poses no immediate threat to Florida.
