Ed Sheeran’s back-to-back shows at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, are off. The venue canceled both Friday and Saturday performances as a nor’easter moves up the East Coast, bringing coastal flooding, high surf, heavy rain, and wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour. Gillette said the decision put the safety of fans, staff, and everyone involved first, and Ticketmaster will issue automatic refunds, so ticket holders don’t need to do a thing.
The storm’s reach stretches from North Carolina through New England, with flash flooding possible in the Boston metro area. The cancellation also lands during a bumpy stretch for Sheeran’s Loop Tour.
