Officers say the teen and a second underage suspect pulled up to a home near 44th Street and Thunderbird Road in a stolen red Ford truck early on Sept. 12. Ring camera footage shows the pair trying to cover their faces before one of them kicked in the front door and both fled. The door was custom made, and rebuilding it will run the homeowner around $10,000. The teen was arrested Sept. 13 and booked into Durango Juvenile Detention Facility on counts of criminal damage and unlawful use of transportation. Police have not released details about the second suspect, who remains at large.
