A 92-year-old Baton Rouge man, Larry Salisbury, was found dead inside his home on Archery Drive Monday night, according to police. Investigators say he died from blunt-force trauma. Salisbury’s son was identified first as a person of interest and later as a suspect in the killing, though no formal charges have been announced.

On Tuesday, officers took the son into custody after a vehicle pursuit. Police say the car he was driving matched the description of a vehicle connected to the murder scene. The vehicle flipped during the chase, and no injuries were reported. The homicide investigation remains ongoing.
