Chick-fil-A is doing something it hasn’t done since March 2016: adding a brand-new sauce to the permanent menu. Spicy Chick-fil-A Sauce arrives November 16, blending the chain’s classic sauce with spicy peppers. That’s a decade-long wait for a new flavor, and for a region that treats a post-beach drive-thru run as a ritual, it’s kind of a big deal.
The sauce will be available in standard dipping cups, and if you want to keep the party going at home, 8-ounce bottles are part of the launch too. The last new addition was Sweet & Spicy Sriracha back in 2016, so this is the first fresh option in ten years. For comparison, that’s longer than the gap between some spring training seasons down in Sarasota and Bradenton.
Around the Suncoast, sauce loyalty runs deep, and people have opinions. Does spicy top the original? Will it work on a sandwich, or is it strictly a nugget situation? November 16 is circled, and we want to hear your take before the first dip. Which menu item are you pairing with Spicy Chick-fil-A Sauce first? Let us know in the comments.
