A NORTH PORT MAN WAS ARRESTED WEDNESDAY AFTER HE WAS ACCUSED OF RAPING AN UNDERAGE GIRL. NORTH PORT POLICE SAY 47 YEAR OLD MARK HENSHAW INVITED SEVERAL CHILDREN INTO HIS KOLTENBORN ROAD HOME AND TAUGHT THEM HOW TO PLAY QUARTERS. HE ALLEGEDLY GAVE THE CHILDREN ALCOHOLIC ENERGY DRINKS. A 13-YEAR OLD GIRL TOLD AUTHORITIES THAT HENSHAW HAD SEX WITH HER AFTER THE GAME, AND HE WAS CHARGED WITH SEXUAL BATTERY, CONTRIBUTING TO THE DELINQUENCY OF A MINOR AND GIVING ALCOHOL TO A PERSON UNDER THE AGE OF 21. HE IS BEING HELD WITHOUT BOND IN THE SARASOTA COUNTY JAIL.
