LEMON BAY HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL DAN JEFFERS ANNOUNCED THURSDAY THE HIRING OF DAVID (D J) OGILVIE AS THE NEW HEAD FOOTBALL COACH AT THE SCHOOL. OGILVIE HAS BEEN THE COACH AT YOUNGSTOWN BOARDMAN HIGH SCHOOL, HIS ALMA MATER, SINCE 2006, COMPILING A 29-24 RECORD IN FIVE SEASONS THERE, MAKING THE STATE PLAYOFFS IN 2007 AND 2009. BEFORE THAT HE WAS THE HEAD COACH AT UNITED LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL IN HANOVERTON, OHIO, COMPILING A 36-24 RECORD THERE. OGILVIE GRADUATED FROM BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY IN 1993 WHERE HE WAS A FOUR YEAR LETTERMAN. HE HAS A WIFE TONI AND FOUR CHILDREN (TWO BOYS AND TWO GIRLS). OGILVIE REPLACES MIKE MESSINA, WHO WAS RELIEVED OF HIS DUTIES AFTER 16 YEARS AT THE HELM.
