SARASOTA COUNTY DEPUTIES SAY A SERVICE STATION WAS TARGETED FOR THE SECOND TIME IN TWO WEEKS, AND THEY BELIEVE THE SAME MAN TRIED TO ROB IT AGAIN. DEPUTIES RESPONDED TO THE SAVE-ON GAS STATION AT 2522 STICKNEY POINT ROAD AT AROUND 8PM LAST NIGHT. THE SUSPECT WAS ARMED WITH A KNIFE AND DEMANDED CASH FROM THE CLERK. HOWEVER, THE CLERK THREATENED TO TASE THE SUSPECT AND HE FLED THE SCENE. HE IS DESCRIBED AS A WHITE MAN BETWEEN EIGHTEEN AND TWENTY YEARS OLD; 5’7 135 POUNDS. HE WAS WEARING A BLACK HOODIE AND BLUE JEANS AND HAD A STOCKING COVERING HIS FACE.
