DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit made a game-changing drug bust at 5997 SW Owens School Street, when searching for Colby Wooten, who had an outstanding warrant for trafficking of methamphetamine. Today, Colby Wooten, Michael Blades and David King are now behind bars of the DeSoto County Jail.
During the arrest, our Narcotics Unit seized and recovered a whopping 463.98 grams (1.02 pounds) of methamphetamine! And here’s why this is a monumental moment: just look at the smile on Sergeant Proudfit’s face as he holds up the seized drugs! You must admit the excitement is contagious!
But that’s not all! We also uncovered a firearm and ammo in possession of Wooten and Blades, both who are convicted felons.
