In a stunning display of skill and pure luck, Ed LaRue, a dedicated golfer from the Rotonda Golf and Country Club, scored two holes-in-one in just ten days. LaRue typically plays three to four rounds each week and managed to sink his first ace on March 21. The thrill didn’t last long, as just ten days later, fate surprised him again on hole number three. Talk about a dream come true!
The odds of hitting two holes-in-one back-to-back are bafflingly low—about one in 65 million, making LaRue’s back-to-back aces practically a miracle on the green. Club manager Harold Kennedy was left in disbelief, recalling the look of excitement on LaRue’s face when he shared the news of his second hole-in-one.
After being sidelined for a while due to cataract surgery, LaRue is eager to get back into action on the course. With his doctor’s blessing, he’s excited to swing those clubs again. Though he jokingly mentioned that another hole-in-one might just result in his eviction from the course, it’s clear that he’s relishing the unexpected thrill of the game. With talent like that, we can only wonder what’s next for Ed LaRue—golfing legend in the making!
