Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake Removed from Gulf Cove Family’s Yard: What to Do If You Spot One

A Gulf Cove family got quite the surprise Saturday morning when they stepped outside to do yard work. Paul Tremblay and his son Brandon found a large Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake coiled up in their front yard. They immediately called the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, and FWC officers arrived to safely remove the snake in about thirty minutes. The entire encounter was captured on video, and it’s easy to see why the family was genuinely shocked. (76 words)
