Eleven teenagers were injured in a shooting at Carolyn Crayton Park in Macon, Georgia, just after midnight on Sunday, September 27. According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responding to the scene also received reports of gunshot victims arriving at a local medical facility. The victims include nine males and two females, all of them 17 or 18 years old. One 17-year-old boy is listed in critical condition, while the remaining ten are stable.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is working to determine what led up to the shooting, and investigators are asking anyone with information to come forward, including through Macon Regional Crime Stoppers. No suspects or further details have been released as the investigation continues.
