Rocktoberfest is coming back to UTC Sarasota for its third year on Saturday, October 3, from 6 to 9 p.m., and this one is easy to plan around. Seven rock bands will play at seven different locations across the UTC District, and a free trolley will loop between every stop all night. Check in at The Green at UTC, near Rocco’s Tacos, to grab your all-access pass and figure out your route.
The event is free and presented with iHeart Radio and Suncoast Charities for Children. Since Rocktoberfest began, it has raised more than $12,000 for the charity, which supports children and adults with disabilities here in our community. So the night out does double duty: live local music and real local impact. Ages 21 and up are recommended, and full details are at utcsarasota.com.
If you’ve been looking for a reason to get out on a Saturday without spending a fortune, this is it. Bring a friend, ride the trolley, catch as many of the seven bands as you can, and call it a night by nine.
