Sarasota’s New Click 2 Fix App Lets You Report Potholes With a Photo

SHARE NOW

Sarasota residents now have a direct line to city departments through a new app called Click 2 Fix. The app lets you report potholes, broken sidewalks, downed tree limbs, parking meter issues, and garbage or recycling bin problems, all from your phone. You attach a photo and the location, and the request gets routed to the right department, whether that’s Public Works, Parks & Rec, Utilities, Risk Management, Parking, or Code Compliance.

Requests are processed during normal working hours. Once you submit, you’ll receive email updates or you can log in to check the status yourself, and the ticket closes automatically once the issue is resolved. It’s a notable shift for a city where reporting a problem used to mean figuring out which number to call and hoping you reached the right person.

Click 2 Fix is free and available now in the Apple and Google app stores. For full details, visit the city’s website or check the original story on mysuncoast.com.
