A 20-year-old Morristown man is facing a theft charge after police say he stole an Axis security polo shirt and hat and posed as a guard to get into Saturday’s Tennessee-Alabama game in Knoxville. According to the report, officers spotted Blake Bible near the G10 ramp on Phillip Fulmer Way just before 3:30 p.m. drinking a White Claw, and an Axis supervisor confirmed he wasn’t employed by the company. He was taken into custody and is scheduled for arraignment on Oct. 30.

The game itself lived up to the rivalry. Tennessee beat Alabama at home for the third straight time, and fans poured onto the field afterward, a celebration that drew a $500,000 fine from the SEC. Whatever you think of the uniform caper, the field storming is the expensive part of the story.
