Walmart has rolled out a combined membership that pairs Walmart+ with Sam’s Club Plus for $120 a year, a price that undercuts buying the two separately by almost $100. The bundle includes Sam’s Club access, free delivery from both retailers, a choice of Peacock or Paramount+, 10 cents a gallon off at more than 17,000 gas stations, and 2% Sam’s Cash on eligible purchases. Walmart estimates the full stack of perks could otherwise run close to $400 a year.
For Suncoast households, the gas discount and free delivery are likely the headliners. Between hurricane season supply runs, the weekly grocery trip, and the drive to the beach, a dime off per gallon adds up faster than people expect. Add in one streaming service and the value case gets stronger, assuming you actually use what you’re paying for.
Existing members have straightforward paths in. Walmart+ annual members can switch for $22 more a year, and Sam’s Club Plus members can activate Walmart+ at no additional cost. The real question is whether the bundle fits your routine better than the memberships you already hold. Will you be making the switch, or are you sticking with your current club?
