THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE WAS NOTIFIED TUESDAY AFTERNOON THAT A MAN HAS GONE MISSING.  THE PARENTS OF 27 YEAR OLD ROBERT FOLKINS SAID HE DROVE IN FROM PENNSYLVANIA UNANNOUNCED MONDAY NIGHT.  HIS PICK-UP TRUCK WAS FOUND PARKED ACROSS FROM HIS PARENTS HOME WITH HIS PERSONAL BELONGINGS INSIDE AT AROUND 3AM, BUT THERE WAS NO SIGN OF FOLKINS.  DEPUTIES, A CANINE BLOODHOUND, AND HELICOPTER SEARCHED THE AREA AROUND MIDWAY BOULEVARD, LOVELAND BOULEVARD, AND KINGS HIGHWAY WITH NO SUCCESS.  FOLKINS IS A WHITE MAN, SIX FEET TWO INCHES TALL AND WEIGHS ABOUT 140 POUNDS WITH SHORT CROPPED BROWN HAIR.  IF YOU HAVE INFORMATION ABOUT THE WHEREABOUTS OF ROBERT FOLKINS, YOU ARE ASKED TO CALL THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE AT 639-2101 OR CRIME STOPPERS TOLL FREE AT 800-780-TIPS.
