AUTHORITIES ARE LOOKING FOR A MAN WHO ROBBED A SARASOTA 7-11 STORE EARLY THIS MORNING.  SARASOTA COUNTY DEPUTIES SAY THEY WERE CALLED TO THE CONVIENENCE STORE AT 3090 BEE RIDGE ROAD JUST AFTER 2AM, AND THE CLERK THERE TOLD THEM THE ROBBER IMPLIED HE HAD A WEAPON AND ASKED FOR CASH FROM THE REGISTER.  THE CLERK COMPLIED AND THE SUSPECT FLED IN AN UNKNOWN DIRECTION.  SEARCHERS COMBED THE AREA BUT DID NOT FIND THE SUSPECT, WHO IS DESCRIBED AS A WHITE MAN BETWEEN 25 AND 35 YEARS OLD.  HE IS BETWEEN 5’10 AND 6’ TALL, BETWEEN 175 AND 190 POUNDS, AND WAS LAST SEEN WEARING A BLACK BASEBALL CAP WITH GREY PIPING AND SPRINT ON THE CAP FACE, A LIGHT BLUE LONG SLEEVE SHIRT, BLACK UNDERSHIRT, BLACK SLACKS, BLACK SHOES, AND HE HAD A TATTOO ON THE LEFT SIDE OF HIS NECK.  ANYONE WITH INFORMATION IS ASKED TO CALL CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION AT 861-4900, OR YOU CAN LEAVE ANONYMOUS INFORMATION WITH CRIME STOPPERS, EITHER BY PHONE AT 366-TIPS OR ONLINE AT WWW.SARASOTACRIMESTOPPERS.COM.
