A 10-YEAR OLD BOY WHO WAS LOCKED IN HIS ROOM FOR MONTHS BY HIS PARENTS COULD BE HEADED TO TENNESSEE TO LIVE WITH RELATIVES WHILE HIS FATHER AND STEPMOTHER FACE CHARGES.  38 YEAR OLD THOMAS BOONE AND 40 YEAR OLD KIMBERLY BOONE WERE ARRESTED ON AGGRAVATED CHILD ABUSE AND CHILD NEGLECT CHARGES IN EARLY JUNE AFTER AUTHORITIES FOUND EVIDENCE THAT THE COUPLE HAD LOCKED THE BOY IN A DARK, FILTHY BEDROOM AND UNDERFED HIM.  THE BOY HAD ESCAPED AND WAS REPORTED AS MISSING WHEN DETECTIVES MADE THE DISCOVERY.  THE BOY WAS FOUND HIDING IN HIS FORMER HOME ON SEABOLD AVENUE IN PORT CHARLOTTE.  A JUDGE ORDERED THAT THE BOONE’S NOT HAVE CONTACT WITH THE BOY OR EACH OTHER, AND THEY APPEARED IN COURT EARLIER THIS WEEK FOR A CASE MANAGEMENT HEARING.  DEPOSITIONS WILL BE TAKEN FROM THE TWO DECEMBER 15TH AND ANOTHER CASE MANAGEMENT HEARING HAS BEEN SET FOR JANUARY 31ST.  THE BOY IS CURRENTLY LIVING WITH HIS PATERNAL GRANDMOTHER IN LEE COUNTY.
