The FBI requested the assistance of the Arcadia Police Department in reference to some home invasion robberies committed in several other nearby counties. During the investigation, Asst. Marshal Gary Evans, Lieutenant Troy Carrillo, and Detective Washington executed several search warrants that uncovered vital pieces of evidence related to the home invasions. The information and evidence found helped to convict Reginald Roberts, Nathaniel Carr, Daniel Jackson and Chrishawn Butler. The FBI announced the federal indictment of these individuals on May 13, 2022.
Reginald Roberts pled guilty and was recently sentenced in Federal court to 41 years for his role in the home invasion robberies.
Nathaniel Carr also pled guilty and was recently sentenced in Federal court to 26 years for his role in the home invasion robberies.
Jackson and Butler are awaiting sentencing.
