Arcadia Police to Host Annual Tip A Cop Event at Slim’s BBQ
Mark your calendars! The Arcadia Police Department’s annual Tip A Cop event at Slim’s BBQ is just around the corner. On October 17th and 18th, officers will trade their badges for aprons as they team up with Slim’s BBQ waitstaff to serve guests during lunch (11 AM – 2 PM) and dinner (5 PM – 8 PM).
All tips collected will support the department’s Community Outreach Program, which funds back-to-school events and provides Christmas gifts for families in need through the Shop with a Cop initiative.
If you can’t make it to the event, donations are also welcome. Drop them off at the Arcadia Police Department, 725 N. Brevard Ave, during business hours.
