A NORTH PORT TEEN WAS ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE SHOOTING IN WARM MINERAL SPRINGS LATE TUESDAY NIGHT.  SARASOTA COUNTY DEPUTIES SAY 18 YEAR OLD DEIFALLA JOHNSON WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY ALONG WITH ANOTHER 17 YEAR OLD BOY THURSDAY, HOWEVER THE SECOND BOY WAS RELEASED AFTER IT WAS DETERMINED THAT HE WAS NOT INVOLVED IN THE SHOOTING.  32 YEAR OLD ROBERT MANN DIED EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING FROM A GUNSHOT WOUND TO THE CHEST, WHILE 28 YEAR OLD KATRINA STONER WAS TREATED AND RELEASED AT THE NORTH PORT EMERGENCY ROOM FOR A GUNSHOT WOUND TO THE LOWER RIGHT LEG.  STONER TOLD DEPUTIES THERE WAS A KNOCK AT THE DOOR JUST BEFORE MIDNIGHT.  SHE SAID MANN ANSWERED THE DOOR WITH THE SAFETY CHAIN ATTACHED AND GUNSHOTS WERE FIRED THROUGH THE DOOR.  SHE DID NOT GET A LOOK AT THE SHOOTERS, BUT INVESTIGATORS WERE ABLE TO PIN JOHNSON TO THE CRIME.  HE IS CHARGED WITH PRINCIPAL TO SECOND DEGREE MURDER AND PRINCIPAL TO ATTEMPTED SECOND DEGREE MURDER.  HE IS BEING HELD WITHOUT BOND IN THE SARASOTA COUNTY JAIL, AND DETECTIVES ARE STILL LOOKING FOR THE PERSON WHO PULLED THE TRIGGER.  ANYONE WITH INFORMATION IS ASKED TO CALL CRIME STOPPERS AT 366-TIPS.
