AUTHORITIES ARE LOOKING FOR A MAN WHO TRIED TO ROB A WOMAN AS SHE USED AN ATM MACHINE IN SARASOTA LATE LAST NIGHT. SARASOTA COUNTY DEPUTIES SAY 18 YEAR OLD DESTINY BARNES WAS BANKING AT THE BANK OF AMERICA ATM ON BEE RIDGE ROAD WHEN SHE WAS APPROACHED FROM BEHIND BY A DARK SKINNED MAN WHO DEMANDED MONEY. SHE DIDN’T GIVE HIM ANY AND HE FLED ON FOOT SOUTHBOUND THROUGH THE PARKING LOT. SHE WAS NOT INJURED. THE ASSAILANT WAS DESCRIBED BY BARNES AS POSSIBLY A HISPANIC MAN, ABOUT 5’4 WITH A MEDIUM BUILD. HE WAS WEARING ALL BLACK WITH A BANDANNA COVERING HIS FACE, AND HE WAS ARMED WITH A BLACK HANDGUN.
