A PORT CHARLOTTE BOY WAS KILLED AFTER BEING HIT BY A PICKUP TRUCK IN A PARKING LOT LAST NIGHT.  THE FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROL SAYS 10 YEAR OLD YOUNIQUE MILLER WAS RIDING SOUTH ALONG THE GRASS IN THE REAR OF 21075 QUESADA AVENUE JUST BEFORE 6:30PM WHEN HE ATTEMPTED TO CROSS THE PAVED DRIVEWAY ACCESS TO THE REAR PARKING LOT.  26 YEAR OLD JACQUELINE LEIGH OF PORT CHARLOTTE WAS HEADING WEST ON THE DRIVEWAY ACCESS WHEN MILLER RODE HIS BIKE FROM BEHIND THE BUILDING AND INTO LEIGH’S PATH.  THE COLLISION THREW MILLER AND HIS BIKE TO THE GROUND, AND THEY WERE PINNED UNDER THE TRUCK.  MILLER WAS TAKEN TO PEACE RIVER REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER WHERE HE WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD.  LEIGH AND A PASSENGER WERE NOT INJURED.  TROOPERS SAY MILLER WAS NOT WEARING A HELMET AND NO CHARGES WILL BE FILED.
