On January 18, 2024, the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office assisted the North Port Police Department with a burglary investigation. Adam Lee Provencal and James Alan Murray are two suspects involved in burglaries at several locations, including gas stations, businesses and homes across North Port and Charlotte County. The two suspects are facing charges for burglary and grand theft due to these incidents.
The DCSO Narcotics Unit conducted a co-affiant search warrant with Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office and North Port PD yesterday, arresting the two suspects on the out of county felony charges.
