AUTHORITIES ARE INVESTIGATING THE VANDALISM OF A VENICE DAYCARE CENTER LAST WEEKEND. SARASOTA COUNTY DEPUTIES SAY THE HAPPY HEARTS LEARNING CENTER ON SHAMROCK BOULEVARD HAD PARTS OF THE WOODEN PLAYGROUND DISASSEMBLED AND A PLASTIC DOLL HOUSE WAS DAMAGED. IN ADDITION, THERE WAS A VULGAR MESSAGE LEFT THAT PROCLAIMED A HATRED FOR CHRISTIANS. A SHERIFF’S OFFICE SPOKESPERSON SAID THE AGENCY IS WORKING SEVERAL LEADS IN THE CASE, AND THEY DID NOT PUT A DOLLAR VALUE ON THE DAMAGES DONE.
