Early this morning, tragedy struck along State Road 29 in LaBelle as a 27-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle collision involving five cows. The crash occurred shortly before 5:00 AM when the driver of a Ford Mustang and the driver of a Dodge Ram both struck the cows wandering onto the highway. Both cars then collided with one another. Sadly, the 27-year-old passed away at the scene while the 50-year-old Immokalee man narrowly escaped with minor injuries. Unfortunately all of the cows involved also died.
