A false Facebook post is circulating claiming that a female police officer named Jennifer Bailey is missing in Sarasota. This is completely untrue and part of a social media scam that has appeared in multiple states, including Texas, Missouri, and Pennsylvania, with only the location changed.
These posts are designed to spread misinformation. Please do NOT share them.If a law enforcement officer were truly missing or endangered, you would hear it directly from us or the appropriate authorities. Stay vigilant, and always verify information before sharing! #SocialMediaScam
