DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office Announces List of Found Property
DESOTO COUNTY – Have you lost something recently? It may have been turned in to the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office.
In accordance with Florida State Statute 705.103, the Sheriff’s Office is holding lost property in an effort to return items to their rightful owners. An official announcement has been issued regarding the disposition of these possessions.
Residents can review the complete list of found property on the Sheriff’s Office website at desotosheriff.com or in person at the Sheriff’s Office, located at 208 E. Cypress St., Arcadia, FL 34266.
Officials remind the public not to wait too long—after 90 days, unclaimed property will be handled in accordance with the law.
The Sheriff’s Office encourages anyone who may have lost an item to check the list and help ensure belongings are reunited with their owners.
