Press Release
This week, the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit received information that wanted subject (felony probation warrant) Thomas Recall was staying at 5029 NW Dill Road, Arcadia, FL — a property known for its revolving door of drug complaints and suspicious traffic.
Detective Albritton secured a search warrant for the residence to find and arrest Recall. Sergeant Proudfit and Detective Santiago entered a travel trailer on the property and found Recall hiding in the bathroom. He was arrested and, upon search, was found carrying a Gabapentin pill that wasn’t prescribed to him. Cameron Nott was also discovered inside the trailer.
A broader search turned up baggies of meth, a jar of meth, dried marijuana, .22 caliber ammunition, and a bag of dried psilocybin mushrooms. Neither Recall nor Nott (convicted felons) had completed their required criminal registrations under Florida State Statute.
