GANG MEMBER CRACKDOWN, THE SEARCH CONTINUES
On March 30, 2023, DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant at 2649 SE Cedarwood Court in reference to 2 suspects involved in an incident of aggravated assault with a firearm from a citizen in DeSoto County. Through investigative efforts using social media led us to the suspects in the case.
During the search warrant, the DCSO SWAT team was searching for Alejandro Dehijar, 16, and Jose Dehijar, 17, both are members of the “Young Chico Gang,” and have previous criminal history for arrests on charges includes burglary, theft and unlawful possession of a firearm. Our crews were also searching for any additional evidence related to the incident.
The CID detectives arrested Alejandro Dehijar at the home, and he now faces charges including Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful Possession of Firearm and Robbery. The search is on-going for 17-year-old Jose Dehijar, and now we need YOUR help!
