DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office Hosts “Stuff the Truck & Trailer” School Supply Drive
ARCADIA, FL — The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office is calling on the community to help local students gear up for success by participating in its annual Stuff the Truck & Trailer event.
From Monday, July 14 through Friday, July 25, residents are invited to donate new school supplies to help fill an unlocked DCSO truck and trailer parked outside the Sheriff’s Office headquarters, located at 208 E. Cypress Street in Arcadia. Donations will be accepted weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
All supplies collected will benefit DeSoto County students and be distributed during the Sheriff’s Office School Supply Drive-Thru event, scheduled for Saturday, August 2, 2025.
Sheriff James Potter and the entire DCSO team encourage everyone to pitch in and support local youth as they prepare for the upcoming school year. The initiative reflects the Sheriff’s Office motto: “Creating Relationships by Serving Our Community.”
