DeSoto County-
Sheriff Potter knows that community partnership is very important. That is why last year the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office began its “No Shave” community outreach program.
This year we got an early start in September by raising over $3,300.00 for the Arcadia Boys and Girls Club. We are very happy to have partnered with the Louis and Gloria Flanzer Philanthropic Trust who matched our contribution.
Looking ahead, since 1957 the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranch has been improving the lives of at risk children through its seven Florida locations. They are credited with helping more than 165,000 children and families.
All funds raised during the month of October will go to benefit the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranch. We are excited and grateful that the Louis and Gloria Flanzer Philanthropic Trust has agreed to partner with us again.
