DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office Seeks to Reunite Lost Items with Their Owners
The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office is calling on community members to check if any lost items in their possession have been recovered. Following Florida State Statute 705.103, the Sheriff’s Office is holding onto found property in hopes of reuniting it with its rightful owners.
An official list of recovered items has been made available online for public viewing. Residents are encouraged to check the list by visiting Found Property Listing or stop by the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office located at 208 E. Cypress Street, Arcadia, FL 34266.
Act quickly! Under state law, unclaimed property will be processed in accordance with the statute after 90 days.
