Attention boat owners!DeSoto and surrounding counties have been the target of boat thefts in recent weeks. The thieves are stealing then abandoning the boats once the motors have been stripped. The focus seems to be on boats with Yamaha 200, four stroke motors.
Please take precautions when storing your boats. Hitch locks and wheel locks for trailers are the simplest and often effective deterrents.
