The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services has awarded DeSoto Memorial Hospital in Arcadia with a 5 STAR Rating.
DeSoto Memorial Hospital is a 49 Bed Rural Community Hospital located in the heart of Arcadia which is just east of Sarasota. They serve a local population of nearly 34,000 residents and offer our patients safe and compassionate treatment in our ER, Med-Surg, ICU, IV Therapy, Lab and Diagnostic Imaging, Surgical Services, Home Health, Wound Care and Physical Therapy units. The hospital has expanded services to include a state of the art Cardio Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program and have plans to add more services. The Home Health Unit has received national recognition for providing excellent quality care.
