Desoto Memorial Hospital Launches CoDA Meetings to Support Healthy Relationships and Emotional Recovery

Arcadia, FL — Desoto Memorial Hospital is taking an active role in supporting emotional well-being and healthy relationship building in the community by sponsoring a new series of Co-Dependents Anonymous (CoDA) meetings.

Beginning Tuesday, October 21 at 1 p.m., the hospital’s Life Improvement Program will host bi-weekly CoDA meetings on the 3rd Floor of Desoto Memorial Hospital, located at 900 N. Robert Ave, Arcadia, FL 34266. The hospital is offering this program to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals seeking personal healing, self-respect, and healthier connections with others.

By sponsoring these meetings, Desoto Memorial Hospital underscores its commitment to whole-person care—mind, body, and emotional well-being. The hospital recognizes that many individuals struggle with co-dependency, unhealthy boundaries, and self-worth, and aims to offer a space where attendees can begin their journey to healing.

What CoDA Offers Through Desoto Memorial Hospital’s Support:

  • A safe and confidential space to share personal experiences

  • Guidance in setting healthy boundaries and improving relationships

  • Tools for self-care, self-discovery, and emotional balance

  • Connection with others who understand and offer support

  • Hope, empowerment, and a sense of belonging within the community

Co-Dependents Anonymous is a worldwide fellowship of individuals whose shared goal is to build healthy and loving relationships. With the sponsorship of Desoto Memorial Hospital, local residents now have convenient access to these life-changing meetings within a trusted healthcare setting.

The guiding message of CoDA — “To thine own self be true” — aligns with the hospital’s mission to help individuals rediscover self-worth, learn self-respect, and improve their emotional health.
