There will be a food distribution event on August 19th at the Turner Agri-Civic Center. State Representative Spencer Roach, Farm Share, and DeSoto County Administration have arranged the dive-thru event. It starts at 9 AM. Volunteers needed! If you’d like to help call, 863-993-4800.
Farm Share is Florida’s largest independent food bank & distributes food to the community through its expansive network of non-profit agencies including soup kitchens, food pantries, homeless shelters, churches, and senior centers across the state of Florida, free of charge.
