FEMA Launches Operation Blue Roof in Charlotte and DeSoto Counties
FEMA’s Operation Blue Roof is now available to assist eligible homeowners in Charlotte and DeSoto counties. The program provides temporary blue plastic sheeting to help protect homes from further damage until permanent repairs can be completed.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is offering free assistance with the installation of these tarps. Homeowners can apply for the service until Tuesday, November 5.
At this time, the program is limited to Charlotte and DeSoto counties.
