A STRUCTURE FIRE AT AN ENGLEWOOD HOME WEDNESDAY EVENING WAS BROUGHT UNDER CONTROL QUICKLY. ENGLEWOOD FIREFIGHTERS RESPONDED TO THE HOME AT 1435 DEER CREEK DRIVE JUST AFTER 6:20PM AND DECLARED THE BLAZE UNDER CONTROL SIX MINUTES LATER. IT WAS COMPLETELY OUT WITHIN AN HOUR, AND EVERYONE WAS ABLE TO GET OUT OF THE HOME WITHOUT BEING INJURED. OFFICIALS SAY IT APPEARS THE FIRE STARTED IN THE ATTIC, AND THEY SAY THEIR QUICK ACTIONS WERE ABLE TO SAVE MOST OF THE OWNER’S BELONGINGS. THE HOME WAS TURNED BACK OVER TO THE HOMEOWNER JUST AFTER 8:30 WEDNESDAY EVENING.
