FOUR PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED YESTERDAY AFTER BEING WARNED THE DAY BEFORE ABOUT TRYING TO SELL PRODUCTS DOOR-TO-DOOR WITHOUT A PERMIT. CHARLOTTE COUNTY DEPUTIES SAY SIX PEOPLE WERE CAUGHT IN THE GARDENS OF GULF COVE WEDNESDAY TRYING TO PUSH AN ECO-FRIENDLY CLEANING LIQUID ON RESIDENTS THERE. DEPUTIES TOLD THE FOREMAN THEY WERE NOT ALLOWED TO SELL DOOR-TO-DOOR WITHOUT A PERMIT, AND HE ASSURED THEM HE WOULD GET ONE. DEPUTIES WENT BACK ON THURSDAY AND THE MEN WERE THERE SELLING AGAIN AND HAD NOT OBTAINED A PERMIT. FOUR OF THE SIX WERE ARRESTED WHILE THE OTHER TWO RAN AWAY. THEY ARE STILL BEING SOUGHT. TWO OF THE FOUR WERE FROM TEXAS WHILE ONE WAS FROM NEW MEXICO AND THE OTHER FROM NORTH CAROLINA. THEY WERE ALL TAKEN TO THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY JAIL AND RELEASED AFTER EACH POSTED A $250 BOND.
