FOUR PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED AS CHARLOTTE COUNTY NARCOTICS DETECTIVES RAIDED TWO HOMES IN PORT CHARLOTTE MONDAY MORNING. DEPUTIES SAY THE FIRST RAID WAS AT 168 DEERFIELD AVENUE, WHERE DETECTIVES FOUND FOUR 30 OUNCE PLASTIC BAGS OF MARIJUANA ALONG WITH VARIOUS PARAPHERNALIA ITEMS AND A XANAX PILL IN ONE BEDROOOM, AND TWO AND A HALF GRAMS OF POT WITH OTHER PARAPHERNALIA ITEMS IN ANOTHER. 22 YEAR OLD NICHOLAS NUZUM AND 21 YEAR OLD BRENNAN NEEL, BOTH OF PORT CHARLOTTE, WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY ON NUMEROUS DRUG CHARGES. DETECTIVES THEN RAIDED NUZUM’S HOME AT 187 GARDEN AVENUE, WHERE THEY FOUND HIS MOM, 39 YEAR OLD BELINDA BERGNER AND HER OTHER SON 17 YEAR OLD BRANDON NUZUM, ALONG WITH A SMALL MARIJUANA GROWING OPERATION AND MORE DRUGS AND PARAPHERNALIA. BERGNER AND BRANDON NUZUM WERE ALSO TAKEN INTO CUSTODY ON MULTIPLE DRUG CHARGES. ALL FOUR WERE TAKEN TO THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY JAIL.
