Free Teen Driver Challenge Set for January 17 in DeSoto County
The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office will host a free Teen Driver Challenge on Saturday, January 17, beginning at 8:00 a.m., at the Sheriff’s Office in Arcadia.
The course is open to teens ages 15 to 19 who have a valid learner’s permit or driver’s license and at least six months of driving experience. The program is designed to help young drivers strengthen their skills and confidence behind the wheel.
Participants will receive hands-on training that includes navigating a challenging obstacle course and learning essential techniques for handling a variety of driving conditions.
Space is limited. Applications are available in the Sheriff’s Office lobby at 208 E. Cypress St., Arcadia. Completed applications and RSVPs must be submitted by Friday, January 9.
